Yae today there was like OG outing again.... And in total, about 10 people showed up! Well done lambada!
Ok.... we were supposed to meet at Tiong Bahru MRT station at 11am and well... I was the earliest, as usual... actually YH was early too cos we were taking the same train! LOL ok nvm...
c0c0 came next... about 2 mins after YH and I arrived... So that made 3 people already.. 1 more to make OG!
ZY came next, making our OG complete! yae!
Then came Shu Han... and Tanvi came with here... and with that the 6 of us set out to buy the tickets to watch TMNT!!!! (*yae!*)
After buying tickets we then went to the Kopitiam to have our lunch... Actually ZY didn't want to eat anything but because he saw how appetising the chicken rice looked he decided to get it as well... After lunch we then went back up to the cinema and bought popcorn... YH, ZY and I shared one box of mixed (sweet and salty) popcorn whereas Shu Han and Tanvi both shared a box of sweet popcorn.
We embarrassed ourselves terribly when we walked right past cinema number 3 and the person on duty had to tell us that we were walking in the wrong direction... And then once we were inside the theatre we walked right past our row without noticing it... Oh well at least it was in the dark so no one could really see our faces.. And luckily we were not in school uniform or we would be subject to ridicule and total humiliation for the rest of our lives....
Anyway the movie was really good! I don't know why ZY didn't really like it... Oh well... Different tastes i suppose. I really like Raphael, the red turtle.... ZY said he had an AP (which I do agree to a limited extent) but at least he (the turtle) still upholds moral values and stuff like that.... Oh well.. to each his/her own...
Tanvi and Shu Han didn't finish their popcorn and had to enlist the help of SUper-Manly-Stomach ZY to help them with it. (BTW, ZY, YH and I finished the box of popcorn that we shared.. Well done!)
Zhuangyi met us outside the theatre after we were done with the movie and then we wanted to make our way to Island Creamery for ice cream, where we would meet Augustine and Jacq!!!
We kind of didn't know how to make our way there but luckily Shu Han had a bus guide handy.. SO we stood around for about 15 mins trying to figure out how to get there... And then there were all sorts of different routes, like take the MRT to newton, or go to queenstown, or go to buona vista, or go back to bishan to take 156 (LOL)... But we finally decided to take the MRT to City Hall and then transfer to a bus from there.
So to city hall we went.. and guess what? Weihan was at Funan Mall and met him just before the bus came...
As we had no entertainment during the whole journey, I took out my camera and we decided to camwhore :P:P:P
We finally reached our destination at 3.05 pm and we set off from Tiong Bahru Plaza at 1.45pm.. The whole journey tooke 1 hr 20 mins?? Good job L'ambada! I would have expected us to take 3 hrs but looks like I underestimated our efficiency right??? (=P)
At island creamery we got 3 tubs of ice cream to share... teh Tarik, Mango and Horlicks... We sat in an open space outside mcdonald's and started eating the ice cream there.... The Horlicks tasted like coffee and since we didn't really want to continue having the coffee ice cream we went back to change it... The TEH TARIK ice cream was really good!!!!!
Here is the order in which the tubs of ice cream were finished: 1. Teh Tarik (CHAMPION!) 2. Mango (love this one!) 3. Horlicks (which tasted like cheese... too rich!)
After the ice cream and a few more camwhoring sessions (at arnd 4.30pm) we decided to all go home and rest our bellies from an overdose of ice cream :P:P:P
And so with that... the Lambada outing was dismissed and we all went home... except maybe for a few who had other engagements... like c0c0 and his class gathering...
well, that was what happened for the whole of today during the outing... I really like Raphael in TMNT! So cool! LOL...
