YAE!!!! We (L'ambada) celebrated JACQ's birthday today!!!
Hmm.... we didn't surprise her in the morning like the rest of the OG birthdays because we didn't have time and everyone was recovering from post-CNY holiday blues....
So.... for those who are ignorant of the trouble behind her birthday gift.... let's retrace some of the things that we went to do (at great lengths just for our beloved jacQ of all trades [but master of none LOL])
#1- Mass convo and discussion
Basically we held mass convos and discussed about what to buy and when to buy it... We finally decided on tuesday, 20/2, 12pm at Orchard MRT station (benefit marcsee again haiz).... And the funny thing is we took like 2 days to decide on this! LAMBADA CULTURE THRIVES!
#2- Going out to buy present day Well, on tuesday we [TCM, ween!e, maria, c0c0 and sammyboi] went to taka to have lunch first... Then we walked to the heeren to get the CD, but there wasn't so we went to paragon to get the soft toy, but there wasn't any either.
So we walked back to taka and got the soft toy and back to the heeren to get the CD... LOL!
We combed the heart of orchard LOL!
Then we san hui at around 3.15pm and then maria and I went to our shooting capt's house to bai nian... we stayed from 4pm-6.30pm and we basically watched videos and flipped through yearbooks and ate LOL...
After that we met c0c0 at bugis and we had dinner at pastamania... 3 people a bit too few to call it an OG dinner but heck it! TCM wanted to come at first but decided he had more impt things to do, like, wrap the present!
After our mini-OG dinner we went walking around and stoning till about 8.30 before we finally all went home to prepare for school... HAIZ...
#3- JACQ's BDAY!
We didn't do anything in the morning for her to sort of like surprise her.... and then ween!e was in charge of her card and he did a really great job for it... WELL DONE WEEN!E !!!!
WEEN!E managed to get winston to sign the card... actually no, to WRITE his name on the card LOL... Not everyone in the OG wrote/signed on it cos it was really late notice but hmm as long as the core members of the OG signed it's ok right? (oops)
So basically we waited till 8.15pm for jacq to finish her training and c0c0 and moochy went to buy jacq's cake during the 7 hrs of waiting..... haha....
We (yogi bear, c0c0, moochy, tanvi, TCM, adylah, sammyboi and zhuangyi), studied chem in the lib until 7pm... until the librarians chased us out and locked the library up for the night LOL....
Then we went to the windy benches by the track and continued to mug there until maria and WEEN!E came... but after 7.15pm it got dark so we moved to the specs gal (stadium steps LOL) to... continue mugging!
After jacq finished her training we decided to walk to J8 and adylah almost fainted when she heard we were going to s11.... LOL
anyway we DID go to s11 (and the 3 gals sang all the way there!) except we ta pau-ed all the food and sat in the playground to eat instead... :D
meanwhile c0c0 and ween!e went to collect the cake and brought it to the playground.. anyway after dinner shaun, TCM and c0c0 were trying to light up the candles on the cake for 5 mins and then when they finally did had to "shield" the flames so much so that they wouldn't get blown out....
Everyone left at 9.45pm and by the time i reached home it was like what, 10.45pm? Parents not too happy LOL.... oops....
anyway had a really great time today and wish we can do it more often! March is a great month to do it because there're so many march babies!
1) Adylah 2) Santaa 3) Sammyboi 4) Winston (where everyone commemorates the art of winston-ing) 5) Yogi bear!
hmm those should be all the march babies..... anyway we should have the mega birthday PARTY (not BASH) on the 8th because it's INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY!!!
So all the women shouldn't have any objection LOL... Anyway 10th is the start of holidays so what better day to celebrate than the 8th???? haha...
ok ok... enough crapping le...
