Hello everyone.. The centre was not what i had expected it to be... But anyway, on tues me, Mel N and Cheryl went to Plaza Singapura's Carrefour to look for ping pong balls and Cheryl and I ended up playing with FBTs... Then Rhea said that the ping pong balls were found in SUntec's Carrefour!! So we hopped onto the MRT and went down to SUntec. ALighted at City Hall and walked a very long distance through the Citylink Mall. So we located Carrefour (finally!) and we looked for ping pong balls bu there weren't any so we just bought golf training balls. SO we were in a mood to mess around so we got some um clothes for Mel to try on (did i mention MINISKIRT???) and she looked very nice in that red top. Can be worn for chinese new year, u noe... Anyway... then we spent 12 mins trying to get the right amount that can be divided amongst the three of us worth of PICK-&-MIX candies. Boy, sure took us a while... Then we went on to Tiong Bahru Plaza and we had lunch at McDonald's. I think we set a record for fastest lunch eating because we finished lunch in a matter of 30-45 mins and our portions were quite big. Mel and i had each a mcnuggets meal, plus a mcflurry. Cheryl had a big mac meal *UPSIZE*, and a mcflurry. Talk about big appetite! Then we walked around the shopping centre and then we decided to head off for Bukit Merah. Well... Talk about innate sense of direction, i lead the troupe to Bukit Ho Swee. ANd boy were they mad when we were told that we were going in the opposite direction! SO we turned back, and then we head off again, this time, to KIM TIAN ROAD. WE saw a block 119, sure.. But a multi-purpose hall???? SO the search went on and on... Then we finally found the centre and then we set out to look for a florist shop, ordered the flowers (daisies, i think) and then we went home. You know.. I really think that Chrysanthemums really can be made into chrysanthemum tea.. I mean... Try to maximise its use right? So it'll not be wasted??? And roses can be made into bandung and potpourri and can take flower bath with it.... Daisies on the other hand are colourful... but the usage.. is pretty limited in my opinion.
I think Cheryl and Mel have learnt one very important lesson from this experience:
DO NOT TRUST SAM WITH DIRECTIONS!!!!
Cellie begs to differ though... because....
TRUST SAM WITH DIRECTIONS ONLY IF SHE CHECKS THE STREET/BUS DIRECTORY!!!
